This page includes project based learning (PBL) Activities that I co-planned with teachers. Links will take you to student examples of the given PBL. Rubrics are included there when possible. Below the line are other technologies that were used teachers in my building (mostly CFF teachers).

English - Student created PSAs using iMovie that meets the following criteria: theme, audience, sense of purpose,

English - Students created presentations using various Web 2.0 tools to portray their dream after reading Raisin in the Sun

Biology - Students created a wiki page/resource in groups of 4 that used 4 different technologies to explain different aspects of the invasive species

English - Students used Blabberize to tell a characters story: The Odyssey - each students choose a character "out of a hat" and had to find a visual representation of that character and write a monologue that explained that character's role in the story of the Odyssey.

English - Students used iWeb to create a famous Author's "Official Website". Using templates already available they included pictures of books author wrote in "album", personal info on "about me" page, etc...

English - movie trailers for Huck Finn - each student picked a genre "out of a hat" and created trailers in small groups to depict from reading the book... romance, action/conflict, drama, musical,etc...

Math - Wiki as Review for each chapter

English - Student's create podcast of Scary Story they wrote, as guided imagery project or to show setting the tone or mode of a story

English - Students use Voicethread to get feedback on poetry they wrote

Investigating Science - Students use Voicethread to describe a simple machine.


Physics - Students used voicethread to recreate Newton's Law
